Z Gets Stitches
Zannah was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Max was swinging a rake around in the backyard and it slipped out of his hands and landed in Z's face. She was tough beans about it.

I Flipped a House
One of my waste-hours-a-day hobby is real estate perusing. I check real estate listings daily. I look in towns I don't live in, heck sometimes even states I don't live in. I find houses fascinating. I find the difference in prices according to location fascinating. I also watch HGTV and have become convinced I could flip a house with some fixing up and staging. Marcus let me do it. His exact words were "get it out of your system." He also said, "this is all your project, I don't have time to help." But, of course he helped. I married well. The closing date is the first week of April. Let's hope I didn't jinx myself by bragging before it was final. It better close, I just landed another property.
Just following suit
Metta has quickly followed suit around here. Tabletops, window ledges, tall slides, they all need to be climbed and obviously that is where you eat your breakfast too.
Valentine's Day
It's the only picture I took on Valentines Day. Max wore a heart necklace to pre-school and obviously needed to perfect his wink.
Zannah Mae and Grandma Ethel Mae
Grandma Firth is the most up-lifting, cheerful person you will ever meet. She is 92. She hums. She is happy. She plays with her great-grandchildren. Zannah loves being around her. She is up for doing whatever Z has in mind.
I hope I never forget hearing them from the other room giggling together as they ate chocolates. I hope Z never forgets the fun she shared with a special grandma.

Zannah Turns 7!
Zannah has begged for a "friend" party since she could utter those words. I finally caved this year. She wanted a Tea Party and it was a hit, the kiddos were great and my mom and dad miraculously showed up the day before and were put to work. I just hope Zannah got her fix, because there is only so much energy I can muster every 7 years.
My mom made this cake look magazine worthy.
Dad was pretty proud of those new red boots.

We sure love this girl. Grandma Dana and Papa Tom spent Sunday with us and I totally spaced a picture. They left their mark on Zannah's face, she finally got her makeup kit.
