Driving, Granola Bars, Alamo

A decision was made late, late at night to venture down south to San Antonio for Easter weekend. We had an excellent chauffeur named Marcos. He smelled nice enough, drove safe enough, but had to be reminded about the chit-chatting rule. Couldn't he see that I was reading a novel and determined to start and finish it in the 8 hour drive? And couldn't he see that little Z was entranced with 8 new episodes of Curious George?

As if a single chain could keep Z at bay. Come on Alamo, didn't you learn anything the first time??

Within the first five minutes at Sea World, Zannah grabbed a granola bar out of my hand and threw it to the dolphins. I told the chauffeur that he might need to have the get-away car ready before our visit was through. Besides Z not understanding why she couldn't dive into any and every pool of water, Sea World was a blast.

Splash pad was a huge hit.

Marcus rigged it so we could listen to Conference on the way home. For the price, you couldn't find a better chauffeur. And then the magic of portable DVD players failed us and Z cried so hard she threw up. Happy Easter!

We had the same trouble at the Alamo. If they really want to keep the kids off the grass they should have a better solution.

You are so funny. I wish Eddy could have been there with little Z too.

Oh my that little Z is so darn beautiful! Layne drives our family every where we go so that he won't have to help at all with the kids! (and he will admit to that with no guilt or shame at all!!)

That girl has a mind of her own! But, I'm sure she could get away with almost anything because she is so darn cute!!!
